In addition to organic ingredients, we also carefully select ingredients that are wild-harvested and biodynamic. While some cosmetic ingredients, such as clays, vitamin C, and vitamin E, cannot be certified organic, we use non-GMO, plant-based vitamin E in our products and never exceed a 1% concentration in our formulas
Organic Portions Skincare products are labeled Organic. What does this mean?
Under USDA/NOP regulation, cosmetic and body care products may fall under 4 organic labeling categories:
“100% Organic” – Skincare products must contain (excluding water and salt) only organically produced ingredients.
“Organic” – Skincare products must contain at least 95% organically produced ingredients (excluding water and salt). Remaining product ingredients must consist of non-organically produced agricultural products that are not commercially available in organic form.
“Made with Organic Ingredients” – Skincare products contain at least 70 percent organic ingredients and Skincare product label can list up to three of the organic ingredients on the main display label.
“No Organic Labeling” – Skincare products with less than 70 percent organic ingredients cannot use the term “organic” anywhere on the main display label..

Yes. Most of our facial serums have a very light scent that disappears quickly. This is due to the small amount of skin-beneficial, non-photosensitizing essential oils (EOs) we include in our formula. Although some people may find the scent of essential oils appealing, we believe it's important to use them sparingly in skin care products. Using too many products with high concentrations of essential oils or using essential oils that are not suitable for facial skin can lead to negative reactions or sensitivity. We encourage you to be mindful of the products you use and avoid those with strong scents, as these are often formulated with high concentrations of essential oils that may not be safe for daily use on the delicate skin of the face.
No, we do not use artificial fragrances in our skin care products. We believe that artificial fragrances have no benefit for the skin and can even be harmful. Many of our natural ingredients have their own scents, as intended by nature. We prefer to use these ingredients rather than artificial fragrances
At Organics Potions, we only use natural or organic essential oils to scent our products, never artificial or synthetic fragrances. Essential oils have been used for centuries to fragrance the skin and are a key ingredient in many natural or organic skin and body care products. We blend essential oils into our products for both their aromatherapy benefits and their specific skin benefits. We use these oils in very small amounts to avoid overwhelming the senses or causing irritation. Therefore, we do not need to use any synthetic fragrances in our products.

Yes, all of our formulas are gentle and can be used in combination with other intensive skincare products like retinol, Vitamin C, and exfoliating acids. Our oil-based facial serums are particularly compatible with these treatments and should be applied as one of the last steps in your routine. However, we do not recommend using our exfoliant or masks on the same day as other intensive treatments, as this may lead to skin sensitivity or negative reactions.

Yes. Your billing address will automatically be entered as your delivery address. You can change this during the checkout process. If you have an account, you can also create, change and save multiple addresses in your address book. Unfortunately, if you have already placed an order you will be unable to change your delivery address
It is incredibly difficult for us to make edits to your order once it has been placed, and in many instances, it is not possible at all. When placing an order you may enter separate billing and delivery addresses. The order will be delivered to the address indicated. Packages are delivered without pricing information; you will receive a receipt with details of your order by e-mail. The My Account area also offers an address book that enables you to save a different delivery address and billing address.
You can cancel your order for a refund to your card or store credit, if you do so before your order ships. We do have very fast shipping, so if you get to us too late you will have to go through our returns process.
